Sherry Colgan Stone, Ed.D.
Sherry Colgan Stone currently works for a Community College District as the Emergency Planning and Preparedness Coordinator and serves as Part-Time Faculty teaching Homeland Security courses. She has worked in the field of education for almost 20 years, focusing on campus safety/emergency management issues for the past 12 years. She spent three years (1997-2000) in Lahore, Pakistan teaching at an American school and learning about the Middle Eastern and Near East/South Asian cultures. She is a volunteer employee for the local Sheriff’s Department as a member of the Sheriff Emergency Response Team. She provides School-Law Enforcement Partnership Trainings and Emergency Preparedness consultation services for districts in Southern California.
